After many years as a filmmaker, professional cinematographer and Director of Photography, I'm focused now on the art of still photography and the making of fine prints.
First and foremost I'm a documentarian who tries to do work in an artful manner. My goal is to leave a record of the magnificent, sometimes magical beauty of the places I’ve been fortunate enough to visit in the world. As well, to include some small photographic measure of what humankind does in those places. Hopefully, in the process I will collect and pass on images inspiring appreciation and caring for our world, and more understanding of our common place in it.
